U11 Bryan Bickell Cup 2023
Orono Team 1 Red finished the tournament in 3rd Place overall!!!
Congratulations to these boys who worked hard as a team and persevered through a first game loss to win the final two games and finish in 3rd place overall in the standings.
Sadly leaving our barn without a medal, these boys still kept their heads held high. They enjoyed a great day of hockey together on the ice, but more importantly the time they had in between games - playing floor hockey, eating pizza and french fries, and enjoying running around our rink with each other. Those are the memories they will keep with them. It's not about the wins and losses (although the wins can be sweet), it's about the time spent together!
We get to look forward to more practices and regular season games together for now until we head to Quinte in March for another tournment! Keep working hard boys!
