The Orono Leafs U8 MD hockey team is off to an exciting start this season, bringing energy, teamwork, and community spirit to every game. These young Leafs are showing that big things come in small packages — with fast skating, strong passing, and plenty of smiles on the ice.
Led by a dedicated coaching staff and supported by an incredible group of parents and fans, the team has been hard at work developing their skills and learning the value of teamwork. Practices at the Orono & Delpark arenas have been full of determination, as players sharpen their skating, shooting, and defensive play.
The U8 Leafs have already made their mark with strong showings in early games, proudly representing the Orono Minor Hockey Association. Off the ice, the team has also been active in local fundraisers, including their recent Apple Fundraiser held at the Orono Arena during the Clarington Flames Applefest Tournament.
With a long season ahead, the Orono Leafs U8 MD team is ready to keep skating hard, learning, and building friendships that last far beyond the rink.Go Leafs Go!
