Hockey Update - March 8th
Submitted By Jeff Caplan on Monday, March 8, 2021
Hockey Update

Your OAAA Hockey Committee is striving to keep you up-to-date with our hockey program.  As you know, nothing is set in concrete as the Covid situation remains fairly fluid.

As for the 2020-21 hockey season, we plan on extending our hockey season until the end of April.  This would be a full month of extra ice for the kids.  We could potentially go into May if the weather cooperates.

As Durham Region remains in the red zone, we will be continuing with individual team full ice practices consisting of skills development.  As soon as we move into the orange zone, we will start in-house games immediately and also consider inter-league exhibition games with other centers if possible.

Information on registration for the 2021-22 season will be communicated in the near future.
